Item 8.01 Other Events

On September 20, 2023, the Board of Directors of Mega Matrix Corp. (the “Company”) determined that the Company’s 2023 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”) will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.(Pacific Standard Time). The Annual Meeting will be held virtually by means of remote communication. Stockholders of record of the Company’s common stock at the close of business on October 25, 2023 will be entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the Annual Meeting. The Company, however, reserves the right to change the record date, and the date, time and place of the Annual Meeting prior to the Annual Meeting.
