It invests in stocks of companies operating in the energy sector, including transporting, storing, gathering, processing, distributing, marketing and/or delivering natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil or refined products or coal. The fund primarily invests in midstream companies and master limited partnerships. It invests in stocks of large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies. The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the Alerian MLP Index. Salient Midstream & MLP Fund was formed on May 24, 2012 and is domiciled in the United States.
