Item 7.01.			Regulation FD Disclosure.

Today, January 11, 2022, VeriSign, Inc. (the "Company") announced that Louis A. Simpson, age 85, the Company's Lead Independent Director, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, after a lengthy illness.

Jim Bidzos, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman, said "Mr. Simpson's service on the Board spanned three decades and helped guide the Company to where it is today. We extend our sincere condolences to his family."
