Dear Integer Team:

As Payman and others have shared, KKR recently announced an agreement to acquire Integer. Now that the news is public, I want to introduce you to KKR and share why we are so excited about the partnership ahead.

I would first like to express our admiration and appreciation for the company that you all have built. Integer has become one of the leading medical device Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO) in the world and plays a critical role in the healthcare system as a strategic partner of choice to customers whose products save and improve lives. We are proud to have the opportunity to partner with a company doing such important work.

As we have gotten to know Integer, we heard consistently about its industry-leading engineering and manufacturing capabilities, deep customer relationships, and commitment to quality and reliability. We believe this reputation is a direct reflection of the team that drives the business day to day – your talent, your expertise, your commitment to excellence, and your dedication to customers. We are incredibly excited about what you have built and the opportunity to partner with you to further grow and expand Integer over the coming years.

By way of background, KKR is a leading global investment firm with 50 years of experience partnering with companies to pursue growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
