Item 8.01 Other Events.

Effective as of June 24, 2026, PIMCO High Income Fund (the “Fund”) is permitted to, as a principal investment strategy, invest in and/or originate loans.

Additionally, effective as of July 24, 2026, the Fund is permitted to invest without limitation in bank loans.

The supplement to the Fund’s prospectus and statement of additional information disclosing these changes is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
