On May 21, 2024, DURECT Corporation issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted Breakthrough Therapy designation to larsucosterol for the treatment of patients with severe alcohol-associated hepatitis. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
