Item 1.01 - Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement

On March 25, 2021, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Apyx Medical Corporation approved an increase in the base annual cash compensation to be paid to the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board from $36,000 per annum to $46,000 per annum. On March 25, 2021, the Board also approved an increase in the base annual cash compensation to be paid to each of the non-employee members of the Board from $35,000 per annum to $40,000 per annum. The increase in the base annual cash compensation to be paid to the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board and to each of the non-employee members of the Board is effective retroactive to January 1, 2021.
