Explanation of Responses:

1. These shares of restricted stock were acquired under Issuer's Riley Exploration Permian, Inc. 2021 Long Term Incentive Plan on March 1, 2021 (the "Grant Date"). The shares of restricted stock vest on the first anniversary of the Grant Date.

2. The share amount of the Issuer's restricted common stock reflects the 1-for-12 reverse stock split of the Issuer's common stock effected on February 26, 2021.
