Explanation of Responses:

1. Received on September 30, 2021 pursuant to that certain Agreement and Plan of Merger ("Merger"), dated as of March 7, 2021, by and among dMY Technology Group, Inc. III, a Delaware corporation ("dMY"), Ion Trap Acquisition Inc., a Delaware corporation and a wholly-owned subsidiary of dMY, and IonQ, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Former IonQ"), in exchange for Former IonQ shares.

2. The shares underlying the option vested or shall vest 1/60th on the last day of each month commencing on September 30, 2018, subject to the Reporting Person continuously providing service to the Issuer.

3. The shares underlying the option vested or shall vest 1/60th on the last day of each month commencing on December 31, 2020, subject to the Reporting Person continuously providing service to the Issuer.

4. The shares underlying the option vested or shall vest 1/60th on the last day of each month commencing on April 30, 2021, subject to the Reporting Person continuously providing service to the Issuer.
