1. Shares held in an IRA account over which Mr. Rasche has sole voting and dispositive power.

2. Shares held in Company stock fund of 401(k) plan as reported by trustee as of the close of business on September 13, 2024.

3. Shares held in a revocable trust of which Mr. Rasche and his spouse are trustees and share voting and dispositive power.

4. Represents a transfer of phantom stock previously deferred to the Reporting Person's deferred income plan account of performance contingent stock awarded to him into a fixed rate account. Each share of phantom stock is the economic equivalent of one share of Spire Inc. common stock. Shares of phantom stock can be transferred to other investments within the reporting person's deferred income plan account at any time at least six months after vesting.
