Explanation of Responses:

1. In connection with the closing of the merger by and among Baytex Energy Corp. ("Baytex") and the Issuer as disclosed on the Form 8-K filed by the Issuer with the SEC on June 20, 2023, each of the reported securities were exchanged pursuant to the terms of the Merger Agreement. The Reporting Person ceased to beneficially own any Issuer securities upon consummation of the merger.
