1. Represents the number of shares withheld to pay taxes due upon vesting of 87 restricted stock units ("RSUs") related to an RSU award granted March 11, 2024, under the Duke Energy Corporation 2023 Long-Term Incentive Plan. Such RSUs convert into common stock on a one-for-one basis.
