Explanation of Responses:

1. Represents 9,652 restricted stock units that is a contingent right to receive common stock upon vesting granted pursuant to the Advent Technologies Holdings, Inc. 2021 Equity Incentive Plan, dated as of February 4, 2021. The restricted stock units will vest 100% on the first anniversary of February 4, 2021, the vesting commencement date.

2. Represents 9,652 restricted stock units that is a contingent right to receive common stock upon vesting granted pursuant to the Advent Technologies Holdings, Inc. 2021 Equity Incentive Plan, dated as of February 4, 2021. The restricted stock units will vest 100% on the first anniversary of June 8, 2021, the vesting commencement date.
