Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

As reported by Root, Inc. (the "Company") in its Current Report on Form 8-K dated July 2, 2021, the Company entered into an Advisor Agreement with the Company's former Chief Technology Officer, Daniel Manges, effective July 3, 2021 (the "Advisor Agreement"). The Company terminated the Advisor Agreement pursuant to its terms on January 1, 2022.
