(NASDAQ:PCT), a U.S.-based company revolutionizing plastic recycling, today announced it has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification from DQS Global, an accredited third-party certification organization. The certification covers PureCycle's Quality Management System (QMS) across the entirety of its Ironton, Ohio dissolution recycling facility.

ISO 9001:2015 is the world's most widely adopted quality management standard, with more than one million certified organizations globally. Certification requires an independent audit confirming that an organization has implemented documented, repeatable processes; a structured approach to risk management; leadership accountability for quality objectives; and a formal framework for continuous improvement.

The certification adds to PureCycle's growing portfolio of third-party validations. In addition to multiple No Objection Letters from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Company earned GreenCircle Certified's Recycled Content Certification and the Association of Plastic Recycler's (APR) Post-Consumer Recycled Content Certification. A recent independent study also confirmed PureCycle's dissolution process is able to upgrade post-consumer waste into the highest quality level in the CosPaTox framework. CosPaTox is a science-based methodology developed by a voluntary industry consortium to evaluate the safety and suitability of recycled plastic materials for use in consumer products.

PureCycle has also received the REACH Certificate of Compliance, allowing the Company to sell PureFive^® resin to customers in the European Union. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) Certificate of Compliance confirms that materials handled and produced by PureCycle meet the European Union's (EU) stringent regulatory requirements for human health and environmental protection.

Together, these provide customers and partners with independent verification of multiple critical dimensions: the purity and sustainability credentials of PureCycle's product and the quality and consistency of its production operations.
