Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 18, 2022 (the “Termination Date”), the Loan and Security Agreement dated December 31, 2018, as amended (the “Agreement”) among Otonomy, Inc. (the “Company”), Oxford Finance LLC (“Oxford”) and the lenders set forth in the Agreement was terminated in connection with the Company’s payment of all amounts due and owing thereunder of approximately $17.0 million. As of the Termination Date, the Company had no balance outstanding under the Agreement.
