Item 8.01 Other Events.

On May 3, 2021, a Notice of Allowance was issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office with respect to Patent Application NO. 16/294,686 ("Nano Hole Array Based Plasmonic Gas Sensor with Various Coating and Temperature Control"), which is one of the current portfolio patent applications that is the subject of the license agreement between Hoth Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) and The George Washington University (“GWU”). The Company has an exclusive license agreement with respect to the use of this patent application from GWU.
