Item 8.01 Other Events.

On August 26, 2021, the Company disclosed that research sponsored by the Company on the variants of the Sars-CoV-2 virus was published in the journal Microbiology Spectrum. The article can be found at: https://journals.asm.org/doi/full/10.1128/Spectrum.00030-21.

The research was performed under the exclusive licensing agreement for “ACE2 Decoy Peptides in the Treatment of COVID-19” between Virginia Commonwealth University and the Company.
