Item 8.01. Other Events.

On November 12, 2025, Graphjet Technology (the “Company”) was informed that trading of its ordinary shares will commence on the OTC Markets under the ticker symbol “GTIJF”, effective on November 13, 2025. The Company’s securities were previously listed on The Nasdaq Global Market (“Nasdaq”) under the ticker symbol “GTI”.

The transition to the OTC Markets follows the notice of delisting from Nasdaq as previously disclosed in its Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on November 12, 2025. The Company expects that trading on the OTC Markets will provide continued liquidity for its shareholders.

Shareholders are not required to take any action with respect to the change in trading venue or ticker symbol. The CUSIP number for the Company’s ordinary shares will remain the same.
