On January 22, 2026, GEE Group Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE American: JOB) issued a press release announcing its response to the public commentary made through a press release issued by Star Equity Holdings (Nasdaq: STRR) referencing the Company and a letter (Indication of Interest) dated January 6, 2026. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
