The E.W. Scripps Company (the “Company”) announced that the role of Chief Operating Officer, currently held by Lisa Knutson, will be eliminated at the end of the year.

Ms. Knutson is entitled to payments and benefits under the Company’s Amended and Restated Executive Severance Plan (the “Severance Plan”), which are described in the Company’s 2024 proxy statement.

In addition to benefits under the Severance Plan, the Board of Directors approved a one-time benefit of $140,400 to be paid upon separation to provide for medical insurance premiums until Ms. Knutson is eligible to enroll in Medicare.
