Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Effective July 11, 2022, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Equitable Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) elected Arlene Isaacs-Lowe as a director of the Company. The Board also determined that Ms. Isaacs-Lowe qualifies as an independent director under the New York Stock Exchange Listing Standards and Rule 10A-3 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. Ms. Isaacs-Lowe has been appointed to the Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Ms. Isaacs-Lowe will receive compensation as a non-employee director as described under the caption “Director Compensation” in the Company’s proxy statement for its May 19, 2022 Annual Meeting of Stockholders filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 6, 2022.
