Former EdgeCore CEO and Founder of CoreSite brings operational and advisory expertise to Divcon's leadership team

Divcon LLC, a leading independent provider of mission-critical Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) solutions, announced the recent appointment of Tom Ray as an independent member of its Board of Directors. Ray provides valuable operational perspective and key industry insights as the company increases its market share in the rapidly growing global data center industry.

Ray brings more than four decades of experience leading and advising businesses across the data center, real estate, and software sectors. He previously served as Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of EdgeCore Data Centers, as well as CEO and Founder of CoreSite Realty Corporation, one of the nation’s leading data center owners and operators. Ray was recently appointed as an independent board member of QScale, a Canadian developer and operator of next-generation, AI-ready data centers that was acquired by Infrastructure at Goldman Sachs Alternatives.

In addition to his operational leadership, Ray is a Co-Founder of Quannah Partners, a middle-market real estate private equity firm, and Founder of Buckhorn Capital Group, a family investment office. Earlier in his career, he spent 11 years with The Carlyle Group, where he served as a Managing Director leading the firm's data center investment activities.

Ray joins former Microsoft executive Nana Bule as one of the Board's two independent directors. Together, they serve alongside Marc Shiffman, Divcon's CEO and Chairman of the Board; Jeff Possick and Erin Dunn-Franklin of Goldman Sachs Alternatives; and Divcon Co-Founders John Palacios and Ben Crowell. Divcon has been a portfolio company of Goldman Sachs Alternatives since 2024.
