1. The price reported in Column 4 is a weighted average price. These shares were sold in multiple transactions at prices ranging from $41.00 to $41.54, inclusive. The Reporting Person undertakes to provide to Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc., any security holder of Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc., or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares sold at each separate price within the range.

2. After giving effect to the transaction reported in this Form 4, Mr. Leavitt directly beneficially owns 73,569 shares of common stock and 4,598 shares of restricted stock of Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc.
