Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On May 8, 2025, BlackBerry Limited (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Toronto Stock Exchange has accepted the Company’s notice to implement a normal course issuer bid to repurchase for cancellation up to 27,855,153 of the Company’s common shares, representing approximately 4.7% of the outstanding public float as of May 5, 2025. The program is scheduled to commence on May 12, 2025 and will expire no later than May 11, 2026. A copy of the press release discussing the announcement is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
