Item 5.02(b) – Departure of Director

On September 27, 2023, Timothy Dattels notified BlackBerry Limited (the “Company”) of his intention to resign from the Board of Directors of the Company, effective September 28, 2023. Mr. Dattels served on the Board since 2012 and his decision to resign was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on matters related to its strategy, operations, policies or practices.
