Item 8.01 – Other Events

On November 22, 2021, Biocept, Inc. announced that commercialization of its co-developed COVID-19 assay with AEGEA Biotechnologies Inc. will be delayed, as a result of newly announced changes to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s requirements for laboratory-developed COVID-19 tests.
