ITEM 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) Arch Capital Group Ltd. (the “Company”) director, Thomas R. Watjen, has informed the Company of his decision to resign from the Company’s Board of Directors, effective December 31, 2023. The Board of Directors and management thank Mr. Watjen for his service and insightful contributions to the Company, informed by his extensive experience in the insurance sector, which has supported the business through a period of sustained premium and earnings growth.
