Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On April 14, 2023, Gilmore O’Neill notified the Board of Directors of Aptinyx Inc. of his decision to resign from the Board of Aptinyx Inc., and all committees thereof, effective as of the close of business on April 14, 2023. Mr. O’Neill’s resignation was not due to any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to company’s operations, policies or practices.
