This segment offers its products to asphalt producers, highway and heavy equipment contractors, ready mix concrete producers, contractors in the construction and demolition recycling markets, and governmental agencies. Its Materials Solutions segment designs and manufactures crushing equipment, track-mounted systems, bulk material handling solutions, vibrating equipment, screening equipment, electrical control centers, modular relocatable stationary plants, conveying equipment, plant automation products, mobile portable plants, and mineral processing equipment, as well as provides consulting and engineering services. The company has a strategic partnership with CarbonCure Technologies Inc. to offer solution for concrete production. Astec Industries, Inc. was founded in 1972 and is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The company offers its products under the Wabash National, Benson, Brenner Tank, Bulk Tank International, DuraPlate, Extract Technology, Supreme, Transcraft, Walker Engineered Products, Walker Transport, DuraPlateHD, ArcticLite, Iner-City, Spartan, and Kold King brands. It distributes its product directly, as well as through its retail operations and independent dealers to truckload common carriers, leasing companies, private fleet carriers, less-than-truckload common carriers, and package carriers. Wabash National Corporation was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana.
