It serves commercial space, aerospace, defense, underwater marine, and other commercial and government customers. The company was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Merritt Island, Florida. Verizon Communications Inc. has a strategic partnership with Mastercard Incorporated. The company was formerly known as Bell Atlantic Corporation and changed its name to Verizon Communications Inc. in June 2000.
