As of February 2, 2021, it operated 232 healthcare facilities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. As of December 31, 2020, the company operated 75 skilled nursing facilities with 9,463 licensed beds; 24 assisted living facilities; 5 independent living facilities; 35 homecare programs; and 4 pharmacy locations, as well as a 16-bed behavioral health hospital. National HealthCare Corporation was founded in 1971 and is based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
