The company also provides software and services, which consists of software defined networking orchestration solutions, network function virtualization, and professional and technical support services. The company was formerly known as DASAN Zhone Solutions, Inc. and changed its name to DZS Inc. in August 2020. The company was founded in 1996 and is based in Plano, Texas.
